Many miners on Phemis consider the spider-like creatures known as “rubat spinners” bad luck.

The spinners are highly dangerous predators known to attack creatures as large as Wookies when hungry enough.

They gather near deposits of rubat crystals.

Nesma was wounded when attacked by rubat spinners in the caverns on Phemis.
